These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through the Alex Tigg website (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products

Our photographic prints are produced to order using professional photographic printing processes and premium materials.

As each print is individually produced, minor variations in colour, tone, texture and appearance may occur. Images displayed on screens may also differ slightly from the finished physical print due to differences in screen calibration and display settings.

These variations do not affect your statutory rights.

Where a product is made to a customer's individual specifications or is clearly personalised, this will be stated on the relevant product page before purchase.

3. Pricing

All product prices are displayed on the website at the time of purchase.

Delivery charges are not included in the product price unless expressly stated and will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We reserve the right to change our prices from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.

4. Orders and payment

An order is placed when you complete the checkout process and payment has been successfully received.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where there is a genuine error in the advertised price, product information or availability. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.

Payments are processed through the payment services available through Squarespace's checkout system and its payment partners.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

5. Production and delivery

All prints are produced to order.

Our standard production time is approximately 7–10 business days from receipt of payment. Production may take longer during particularly busy periods.

Estimated delivery times are additional to the production time.

UK delivery

UK orders are shipped using tracked delivery services. The available delivery method and cost will be shown at checkout.

International delivery

International orders are shipped using tracked international delivery services. The available delivery method and cost will be shown at checkout.

Delivery times for international orders may be affected by customs procedures and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Customs, duties and taxes

For orders delivered outside the UK, the customer may be responsible for import duties, taxes, customs charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.

Where applicable, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Customs charges and import requirements vary between countries and are outside our control.

7. Cancellations and returns

Standard products

Where a standard photographic print is purchased online and the product has not been made to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised, you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Where this right applies, you do not need to provide a reason for cancellation.

If you exercise a statutory cancellation right, the goods must be returned in accordance with the applicable cancellation requirements. Further information about how to exercise your cancellation rights can be obtained by contacting us at:

Personalised or individually specified products

The statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised, where the applicable legal exemption applies.

Where this exemption applies to a particular product, this will be made clear on the relevant product page before you place your order.

Simply producing a standard product after an order has been placed does not, by itself, remove statutory cancellation rights.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

If your print arrives damaged, faulty or does not correspond with its description, please contact us at alextiggphoto@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide photographs of the item and its packaging where appropriate, as this may help us investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, we may provide a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

We will not ask you to waive any statutory rights in order to receive a remedy.

8. Care and handling

To help preserve the quality of your print:

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

• Avoid areas of high humidity.

• Keep prints away from excessive heat and moisture.

• Handle prints with clean hands and avoid touching the printed surface.

• Follow any framing, mounting or display instructions supplied with the product.

We are not responsible for deterioration or damage caused by inappropriate handling, storage, framing or display where the damage was not caused by a fault in the product.

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website is the property of Alex Tigg or is used with the permission of the relevant rights holder.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Photographs and photographic prints

• Digital images

• Videos and films

• Artwork and graphic content

• Written content, descriptions and text

• Logos, branding and visual identity

• Website design and layouts

• Other original creative content appearing on the website

All photographs displayed on this website are protected by copyright. Copyright in the photographs remains with Alex Tigg and is not transferred to you by viewing the website or purchasing a physical print.

You must not, without our prior written permission:

• Download, save or copy photographs or other images from this website for your own use.

• Reproduce, publish, distribute or republish any photograph, artwork, video or other creative content.

• Use any photograph or other content for commercial purposes.

• Use our photographs or artwork on another website, social media account, publication, advertisement or other platform.

• Modify, edit, crop, manipulate or otherwise alter our photographs or creative work for your own use.

• Scan, reproduce or digitally duplicate a purchased print.

• Use our photographs, artwork or other content to create derivative works or products.

• Remove or alter any copyright, watermark, credit or other rights-management information.

• Represent any of our photographs, artwork or other creative work as your own.

Purchasing a physical print does not grant you any licence to reproduce, copy, scan, digitise, publish, distribute or commercially exploit the underlying photograph. The purchase gives you ownership of the physical print only, subject to any rights and restrictions applicable to that product.

Any use of our photographs, artwork, videos or other copyrighted material outside the rights expressly granted to you requires our prior written permission.

Unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution of our copyrighted material may constitute an infringement of copyright and may result in appropriate legal action.

10. Privacy and personal data

We collect and process personal information where necessary to process orders, arrange delivery, communicate with customers and provide customer service.

This may include your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number and order information.

Personal data may be shared with service providers where necessary to fulfil an order, including payment providers, website and commerce providers, and delivery companies.

We do not sell customers' personal data.

11. Payment security

Payments made through the website are processed using the payment services available through Squarespace's checkout system and its payment partners.

We do not receive or store customers' full payment card details.

Payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including certain courier delays, customs delays, strikes, severe weather or other events beyond our reasonable control.

This does not affect any statutory rights or remedies available to you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you may have under the laws applicable to you.

Where appropriate, disputes may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales or the courts of the part of the UK in which you live, as permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The Terms applying to an order will be those in force at the time the order is placed.
